Volunteer
Parental Stress Center volunteers play a vital role in the delivery of the agency’s services. With services being delivered 18 hours a day, 7 days a week and fewer than 25 paid staff, the volunteers are not “extra help” but are essential personnel in the agency. Volunteers include those who: co-facilitate parent support groups or therapy groups, co-facilitate teen program groups or therapy groups, co-facilitate youth program groups or therapy groups, provide childcare, provide kitchen assistance, participate or lead in meal preparation, take calls on the 18/7 Parent Stressline, serve on the Board of Directors, assist with events or annual celebrations, organize gift drives, organize fundraising events, provide building maintenance or complete specific projects, and participate in United Way Day of Caring or other company or organization community-giving projects. |
